Saturday Stroll

This week we got and installed our new dishwasher.  Yea for not having to hand wash all the dishes!  W sat in her ExerSaucer for the first time and loves it.  G loves to play with the toys for her, so it keeps both of them entertained for quite some time.  We were finishing up our One Year Old Preschool unit on colors this week, doing a review week and talking about rainbows.  So, this morning we are taking the girls on a special walk to a rainbow park – so fun!

How was your week?  Ready to stroll?

Song: I have had this Alabama Shakes song in my head all week…love it!  The low tones of her voice remind me a little of Etta James (lovingly referred to around here as Miss. Etta).  Love her soul and the throwback feel of this song.

Snapshot: I cannot get over how much I LOVE this one of the girls!

Snooping:

I have been in desperate need of inspiration for our lunches lately, so I was so excited to hear about an e-course from Skill It called Love for Lunch. The class formally started yesterday and we have already gotten some great ideas for lunch and some great printable meal planning helpers.  I can’t wait to see what else is on the menu.   Hopefully, it will get me out of our lunch rut.  It started yesterday, but there is still time to sign-up this weekend, if you need a little help too.

I am feeling quite the baker this weekend, but I am not sure I will have time to get to any actual baking.  But these are definitely on the list, if I do get around to it.  Don’t these look amazing?!

Tomorrow night, for St. Patty’s Day, I am going to see one of my all-time favorite artists at a local spot.  I can’t wait to see him.  This week he posted on his facebook page a neat story about a lost and found guitar.  Here it is online:

Happy weekend!  Blessings, friends!
