Maternity Style Saver

I participated in a Blog Blast Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Bella Gravida. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation. 

I had dreams about what I was going to look like pregnant.  My dreams involved glowing skin, perfectly toned arms and legs, and only a hint of a baby showing by a bump in my midsection.  I was going to be the most stylish pregnant woman with the best wardrobe I could get my hands on.  I even told my husband to get ready, “I am going to be CUTE!”  The dream and the reality are never quite the same, are they?

I was talking on the phone with a friend about how I feel about my maternity body.  And let’s just say I am way more self-conscious when I am pregnant than I typically am.  My body is just not MY body anymore.  It is me, but with a little extra.

And my dream of being the cutest, most stylish pregnant woman, with the amazing wardrobe?

Well, this is my third pregnancy, in my third trimester and I am still working on that.  But I have recently discovered a new service to help me out with my maternity wardrobe.  A service that will hopefully become my maternity style saver!

Super CUTE, right?

I am loving the idea of Bella Gravida, my new maternity style saver!   It is a clothing rental service that delivers the most stylish, top designer maternity (and nursing-friendly) clothes to my door, allowing me to be as fashionable as I had always dreamed I would be.  Here’s why I am liking the concept:

I will get great styles from brands I would usually pass over because of price – I am nothing if not frugal when it comes to clothes, but I have noticed that a maternity wardrobe can be really expensive, especially in the later trimesters because none of my regular sized clothes stretch that far!  As I was browsing their site, I noticed that Bella Gravida has LOTS of designers I would really like to try, but typically cannot afford.

The clothes will be delivered quickly to my front door.  The shipments come out in about 2-4 days and I can wear and return them and get more options FAST.

I get to try new styles!  Since there is no commitment to purchase ANY of the items I get in my shipments from Bella Gravida, I can stretch my style wings and try something new without really regretting an ill-chosen piece.  If I try it and don’t like it, I simply toss it in the bag they provide and drop it in the nearest mailbox.

They take care of the cleaning!  Um…let’s just say this is worth giving Bella Gravida a try, just because they are really thinking of making it easier for this pregnant woman!

I just signed up last night.  I filled my online closet with 20 options of clothes that are CUTE and they will select 3 items, based on their availability, and ship them out to me.  I can’t wait to see what I get!
