Our girls are like a lot of kids their age: obsessed with all things Disney! They love Minnie and Mickey and all their friends, too. And a while back we discovered a fun Disney toy that was price conscious enough for us to start a collection: Tsum tsums. Over a number of months, we have collected quite a few of these fun little toys. And so when it came time to dress up to go to Mickey’s Halloween Party, we thought it would be fun to have the girls dress up as Mickey & Minnie Tsum Tsum!
I was rummaging through our preschool bins to find some apples for the girls to play with as we work through the alphabet together and an idea suddenly struck. I made a simple preschool and toddler game using items that were already on hand. It was so easy and so fun, I decided to share it with you. The game can be modified to work for almost any application and helped introduce and reinforce lots of preschool and toddler concepts. Our girls are early 3 and almost 2, so it works for this age group very well.

One of the very few foods our entire family agrees upon is yogurt. We love the stuff! We go through it possibly a little too quickly. And we love all kinds of yogurt, but we are pretty partial to Yoplait regular yogurt. So when I got the opportunity to test out one of Yoplait’s new yogurts and compare it to one of the leading national brands, I jumped at the chance! This was something we could all do together. My mission was simple: Head to the store and purchase two types of blueberry Greek yogurt (Yoplait Greek and Chobani Fruit on the Bottom). Then I had to figure out how to have a blind taste test with my family. Once we tried it, we would see what the consensus was.
We had one big goal for today: Have fun at Disneyland for Mickey’s Halloween Party! This goal became a task to tackle because we had some extremely fussy children for most of the day! So I am going to give you a recap of our trip in the form of tips. Hopefully I will remember these for next year and our trip will go much smoother.
