September Stockpile: Homemade Baking Mix

This entry is part 2 of 17 in the series September Stockpile

Since today is Labor Day and my husband is home, I decided to ease myself into the stockpiling extravaganza and start off with a relatively quick and easy recipe to put in the freezer.

September Stockpile Homemade Baking Mix

I have seen this recipe for Homemade Baking Mix often used on and I have been wanting to try it for a while.  The recipe can be used in place of Bisquick or other brands of baking mix.

The ingredient list is fairly simple, but includes a couple of items I don’t normally stock in my pantry: powdered milk and coconut oil; so you might have to grab a couple of the items at the grocery before starting this recipe.

Here is the recipe:

This makes two big bags of mix and I will be using it for some of the recipes I am planning on making during this September Stockpile.

Not a bad start and it took less than 20 minutes to get this together.
