I love this 28 Days to Hope challenge and what it is doing to my mindset about my home.  I am seeing things that I haven’t seen before that need a good scrubbing.  And what is more, I have the time to do the cleaning because I am not discouraged by a mountain of housework.  Here is the to-do list we have worked our way into throughout this series:

28 Days to Hope Goal to-do listIn the book today, Dana White talks about standing in your room (whatever room, pick the one you have been cleaning 5 minutes at a time this week) and noticing the clutter, the junk, the messes, that you don’t see because they are already there.  I know this phenomenon well!  I wrote about it back in March in a series I did on house keeping and gave some further tips on how to get rid of clutter fixtures.

So your challenge for today is to locate and get rid of at least 2 clutter fixtures in your home.  Come tell me about them on Facebook or {gasp} take a picture of them and share on Instagram (#hopeforhome).

P.S.  I would also still love to hear from you on what you would like to do next in our Hope for Homemakers journey.  Please leave a comment here or on Facebook, or email me.
