Friday Find: Book Bargains at BN

There seems to be a glut of bloggers who talk about Amazon’s abundant deals on e-books.  They seem to have an endless supply of free and cheap books that changes very often.  While it is very nice to be able to get free and cheap books and download them onto your computer (no kindle required); I am a proud Nook Tablet owner (3rd generation, baby!) and I want to read my free and cheap books on my preferred device.Barnes & Noble

Sadly, until recently when searching for free books or book deals on the nook through the Barnes and Noble website, one would come across a ridiculous amount of unsavory and unedited books.  Which leads one to think, “Is it really a good deal or just a deal?”

That’s why I was so excited when BN started a new collection of books that are under $3.00 called 101 Nook Books Under $2.99.  The selections on the list change about every 14 days and include lots of genres.  There is something for everyone from romance to biography, from thrillers to sci-fi.  It often includes former best-sellers, as well.  Here are some selections you can find on there, as of today:

Title: Everything Is Going to Be Great: An Underfunded and Overexposed European Grand Tour, Author: Rachel ShukertBook Cover Image. Title: Daphne: A Novel, Author: Justine Picardie

In addition to these great books, they have deal of the day books as well as a Friday Freebie!  Gotta love it.

I also found out that BN has free apps, so you don’t have to have a nook to get these great deals and reads.  Amazing what a little bit of research will do!

Happy Friday and Happy Reading!
