Well, it wasn’t exactly pat-a-cake around here yesterday, but we did get some great fun out of a small investment. We decided on the spur of the moment (encouraged by G constantly pulling down the Betty Crocker cookie mixes from the pantry) to make G’s inaugural batch of chocolate chip cookies.
I have never tried the Betty Crocker cookie mixes for actual cookies. I have always used them for some other recipe, so I was pleasantly surprised by the results.
Grace got in on the mixing fun and…of course, she had to have a taste.
Then, she went down for a “nap.” When she got up, we had a cookie together. Her first!
Such fun and less than $3.00 for the ingredients!
